  I agree with " A Google user" 9/3/16 comment.
  I have been to a # of the services here, & have family that continues to attend. This "chairman of the board" AKA Pastor has added unbiblical phrases & used his authority to sow added discord & division within our family,tragically.
  Pray for truth of the gospel,grace & freedom for the opression for the attendees. Thank you.

  I really miss Calvary Chapel & it's friendly folks! The break down of the scriptures made things simple, an clear, open discussion was friendly, thorough, up-beat & positive. Worship was led by the power of the Holy Spirit with true dedication, commitment, an submission to Jesus.

  This pastor surrounds himself with weak minded people that he has manipulated into serving God. Instead of the true calling of a pastor, he has turned to the "dark side" by constant referral to his authority and instilling Pride and Righteousness in his underlings. He uses such language as: Overseer, Shepard, spiritual leader, to show that he has authority over the sheep in his flock. If you were to look at the qualifications of a church elder, (which he is SELF APPOINTED), he does not meet the criteria of one.
  The qualifications of the bishop/elder/pastor are found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7: "This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil."
  He is his own worst enemy, Please pray for his flock, his family, and him so he may repent of his foolish prideful ways.

  I have been to some pretty manipulating churches and this is not one of them. The pastor is kind and easy to talk to. We don't go every Sunday, and we aren't shunned or looked at differently because of that. The majority of these people want a genuine relationship with God and really aren't into following rules and regulations, but just set to do the right thing. Also, I have never heard the pastor take any time (or a full service, like some of my previous church experiences have) to talk about money. It's refreshing to not have someone tell you to give, give, give all your money to the church. I have never felt any pressure from this church to give anything I didn't want to or to do anything I didn't want to do. They also have free coffee, which is a plus.
